Founded in 2019, the Strategic Studies Book Club is a monthly blog examining the foremost ideas of the strategic canon. The mission of the blog is to present a broad strategic spectrum concisely organized using only a synopsis of the analyzed book, and up to five excerpts. The excerpts will endeavor to recognize meaningful passages relevant to perspectives aligned with current as well as historical strategic studies.

Biography:
I spent five years as a light infantry paratrooper serving in both the 173rd Airborne Brigade, and the 82nd Airborne Division. Following my time as a paratrooper I served as an intelligence analyst for USACAPOC in a tactical psychological operations company for three years. I have a double major BA in History & Political Science from MSU Denver, a BS in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis (SSDA) – summa cum laude – from Norwich University, as well as a CAIA/GC in Advanced International Affairs from the Bush School of Government and Public Service – Texas A&M University.
